Jan 26, 2011 update: Things are looking better, but apparently we definately need the bottom of the neck to be closed off, because its generating a shadow. Also the back of the eye sockets need to be closed. and also, maybe there are some small holes in the antlers.

Jan 21 update. Volumetric shadows, and darn it, we discovered that our 3D model has a lot of holes in it. They’ll have to be fixed to clean up all the streaks that are visible.
Jan 20,2011: Today I got the first look at how the Moose’s shadows will be done. It’s a volumetric shadow method.
