A full-blown programming language can do ANYTHING. It can take a webpage, and do loops, IF..ELSE testing, use variables, use files, and anything else. Javascript was chosen because its well-known by programmers and webpage authors. So what I’m saying is, for any complex webpage, you can ask for help from a programmer, and they can theoretically do anything to that page to get data and create something useful for the Moose to say with it.
I’ve chosen “Jint” as the javascript interpreter to be embedded in the Moose.
But but but, what if you’re not a computer programmer at all. Are you out of luck? NO. Don’t forget, the greatest labor saving device ever invented… money! You can go to www.vworker.com, and post a little programming job. Coders from all over the world will bid on it. If its a nice little job in javascript that only takes an hour or two, then some nice fellow from India or Pakistan will probably bid $20 to do it. If it takes a day or two, they might bid $50 to $60 USD.
